Juniors Play More Golf with Youth on Course!

Oregon Junior Golf celebrates 1,000+ local Youth on Course participants in 2017!  Throughout the year, 1,010 local junior golfers logged over 5,000 rounds of golf at 52 participating facilities in Oregon and SW Washington!  Thank you to all the local courses that have supported junior golfers by participating in this program and welcoming juniors to their facilities!

Youth on Course is available in Oregon through a partnership with the Northern California Golf Association.  Over 600 courses across 17 states currently participate in Youth on Course and we anticipate the program to continue to expand in future years.  Youth on Course is a subsidy-based program where junior golfers may play golf for $5 green fees at participating courses making golf more accessible to all youth.  To participate in Youth on Course, juniors may register online at www.OregonYouthonCourse.org, join Oregon Junior Golf and complete an online questionnaire.  Youth on Course is available to youth ages 7-18 and renewable on the calendar year.

In 2018, Tualatin Country Club (Tualatin, Ore.) is dedicating one day to support junior golfers by hosting a Youth on Course Play Day on President’s Day (Monday, February 19, 2018).  Youth will have the opportunity to golf at Tualatin CC for the same $5 Youth on Course green fee.  Tualatin CC is the first private club in our region to invite Youth on Course Members to play at their facility.  Juniors must be 2018 Youth on Course members to be eligible to take part in this fun day at Tualatin CC.

What are you waiting for?  Make your New Year’s Resolution to play more golf (for less!) in 2018!  See you on the golf course!
