Northwest Golf Show Season Means Spring Is Nigh!

By Cameron Healey

GolfShow2The PGA Merchandise Show, held late last month in Orlando, attracts 40,000 industry leaders from 74 countries and, over four days, introduces the industry to the latest in golf technology, products, and equipment. This Show, while generally reserved for industry folk, truly serves as my internal alarm clock– reminding me that the 2016 golf season is right around the corner. And, while I missed this year’s show in Orlando, the good news is we don’t have to wait long nor travel far to experience the latest in the world of golf equipment, deals, stay-n-play packages, and golf gadgets for yourself. Yep, it’s Northwest golf show season folks. Time to start daydreaming about blue skies, green fairways, and birdies! I’m chomping at the bit. Are you?

The veritable treasure trove of opportunities to hit the Golf Shows here in the Pacific Northwest kicks off up north at the Vancouver Golf & Travel Show, with the Portland Golf Show held in, you guessed it, Portland occurring the same weekend. Next up is the Spokane Golf Show held a week later at the Spokane Convention Center from Feb 19-21, and, last but not least, there is the combined Seattle Golf and Travel Show run by John Tipping and his team at Cascadia Events, slated for March 4-6 at the Century Link Events Center. This is arguably, the largest consumer golf show on the west coast and is supported and endorsed by the Washington State Golf Association, The Pacific Northwest Section of the PGA of America and the Washington State Superintendents Association. The Seattle Golf & Travel Show attracted over 13,000 attendees last year, taking in the latest in golfing “gotta haves” and hitting the driving range with gusto!

Will Golf Today NW be offering awesome stay-n-play package prizes and the famous “Guess the Pink Tees” contest this year? Well, yes, we will. Thank you for asking! Stop by our booth, view our latest digital golf magazine, and sign up to be among the first to receive exciting new product reviews, special stay-n-play offers, regional golf news, and more!

But the free golf doesn’t end there. All paid attendees receive one free round of golf, good at one of several courses around the Puget Sound Region.
